We had a wonderful time at the NCFCA Jr. Speech Tournament here in Medford yesterday! God is faithful and we are so happy....with the children and all the work they did for this event. Cassie and Esther got 2nd place in duo, Twins (Mailee and Murren) got 3rd place in the duo. William 2nd place in Expository, Mailee 3rd place in poem, Murren made it to the break in Scripture. They had fun and I know it is helping them in their "future stations in life!"

These young men put the "man" in Workman! Thanks Pastor 'Uncle' Kenny for teaching these guys how to study the Bible these past few weeks. We have some fairly new but very dear friends, The Goodrich Family. They invited us to be a part of their "Team Chloe" fundraiser for their daughter Chloe. Chloe's an adorable 10 year old girl who is undergoing treatment for cancer. We were blessed to be asked to play at her school fundraiser and see all the love shown through the money that was raised. Kevin, was so sweet to make this video clip and make this little video. For me it's fun to see what is happening on video....I don't really see during the performance. I am totally blown away by Alex and his ability! All the kids are amazing, true...but :)! Enjoy, and thanks Kevin!

Jazz Jubilee 2008 - Medford, Oregon

Mom and Dad (Grandma Dot and Grandpa Ken) took us Goldman's to the Jazz Jubilee here in Medford yesterday. It was awesome! Though it was a bit different than our bluegrass genre, it was great! As always they spoiled us completely. Food, gifts and a ton of love!!! We were glad to have (nephew and cousin) David with us as well. He is an excellent piano player. I think we were all inspired. Much can be done with music. May all our family use music for FOR HIS GLORY!!! I wish I had some pics but, well I don't as of right now :)

No Flu vaccine success...NONE

New research on the flu vaccine is confirming something I've been saying for years – the vaccine's effectiveness, particularly among the elderly, has been greatly exaggerated.

The Group Health Center for Health Studies in Seattle recently analyzed previous studies on the flu vaccine and found that researchers were mostly looking at healthy patients who were active and able to get to their doctors' offices each year for a shot.

They weren't using – or basing their analysis on – a representative sample of America's elderly population. And if you're only analyzing relatively healthy people, the results are going to be skewed positive.

This research puts a little more fertilizer on the seeds of doubt planted four years ago by a Dutch study that has been the only one with a large number of patients getting placebos. That one found that the vaccine prevented flu about 57 percent of the time for folks between the ages of 60-69, but that the rate plummeted to 23 percent for those over 70. For four decades, public health authorities have strongly advised the vaccine for people over 65. Fortunately, some researchers are starting to wonder why, despite a big increase in the number of elderly getting the flu vaccine in recent decades, there hasn't been a corresponding decline of the death rate in this age group.

Here's the truth: the vaccine is not a cure-all. It's based on a best guess of what this year's flu strain will be – and there's no guarantee vaccine makers will guess correctly. Docs need to give their patients an honest assessment of what the flu vaccine can – and can not – do, and also show them how to build their immune systems with vitamins, exercise and better food choices.

He is sitting up on his own (for a few seconds) standing up on the crib (for a few), laughs, and in the great Goldman tradition he spits up very consistently! HA Praise God for babies!

Today my little twins turn 8 years old! We are so blessed to have Mailee and Murren in our family. They bring such joy, laughter, love and surprise to the Goldman Family.
We had a great party yesterday for them. They were showered with many wonderful things. They were so happy (and still even now are excited)! They are going through their stuff, wearing new clothes. This morning they ran out as soon as they woke up to get their new Bibles so they could read them. Again thanks to all.

Mailee and Murren we love you soooooo much! Look to Christ as you grow and lean on Him as your comfort, strength and true love!!

Alex still improves everyday on the fiddle....we are SOOOOOOOO blessed and proud of him! Plus this picture is really cool!

Friends from Grants Pass and Family from Washington play basketball with this big crazy family...."A.G.K."....it was great! (A.G.K. stands for Anderson, Goldman and Kruse...or America's Growing Kingdom)

Well, we have been playing at Nursing homes, Festivals and at the Eagle Point Library....our busy summer singing schedule is done! Although we have a few thing on the list up and coming. Great news our CD is close to being done too! Steve (daddy) has been working really hard!

Grandpa Ken serves up a beauty! He is awesome! Playing volleyball with all the cousins and the "Great" Clouds was the best! We have been loving having Aunt Ginger and Uncle John visit from Arizona for the past week or so!

Jeb thinks he old enough to sit up on his own....at 4 months old!! ahhhh! Thanks to Emma who encouraged him at school (co-op school) he is doing it for a little while.

School has been awesome....4 weeks down we are into our 5th week!! It's been so fun and rewarding! The kids are super!!! Jodi and Liisa are amazing teachers. We love the curriculum...Classical Conversations, Veritas Press, Shurley English, Latin, Saxon math and well ect. ect. ect, for the rest (Jodi picked it all out)! We are making memories and history (as well as brains) with these blessed children of ours!

God has been good...He has been Great...we are BLESSED!!!! May you be blessed too!

We are soooo excited that Uncle John and Aunt Ginger have come to visit us all the way from Arizona! The kids (mine as well as the cousins) love these two so very much. I know we will all be having a wonderful time with them these next several days.....we always do!
I am humbled, God has blessed us with such an amazing family, I love our family!! :)
Surely there will be posts soon of things we are all doing together with these two loved ones by many of the kids. Stay tuned! Well, unless we are too busy!!! HA
Anyway, I was thinking.....may God bless all the tight, close families out there. Although if you come from a family not so close, no worries ok, God can start, renew, restore or start a fresh! We are so happy to have Savannah on her birthday today here in Oregon!!! 8 yrs. old. Yippeee! What a sweet niece and fun cousin to my kids. I like to think of her and the twins as triplets when they are together. Savannah is so smart, she likes to talk and have conversations....deep ones, she must take after someone in her family?...hmmmm! HA She seems to try very hard, and do her best in whatever she does, which is great.

Few More Festivals Still!

Tomorrow will be a pretty busy day. 10:00 a.m. we play at the Lake Selmac Bluegrass Festival, then we'll jam a little, join the band scrambles, and say howdy to old friends. After that we will drive an hour or so away to the Thunder Ridge Ranch where Alex plays with the Emy Phelps Band. It will be fun, a bit hot (our AC does not work in the van this summer....yucky) but we'll keep splashing water on our faces and dream of winter days! We are so bummed we will miss the premier of "Come What May" with the family BooHOO. We did see the movie already and Loved it! What great talent, and for God's glory awesome!

Well, guess I should go practice that bass, so I can hit the right notes tomorrow!! HA

Our day started off with going to Central Point to see the parade. Levi and Kolten are taking karate and they had a float. Waiting for the famous cousins on the float.

Ellie and Karissa did a great job holding up the sign!! WOW Cute too!

So why are Karissa and Ellie walking and these tough guys who do karate sitting and taking it easy on the float????? HA

Esther was running back and forth passing out papers and candy, I think, she was cute as can be also.

After the parade we headed over to Ashland to hear Alex play with the band Emy Phelps. He did an awesome job, it was wonderful.

After Emy Phelps was the High Lonesome Band...they are great! They asked Alex to come up and join them on a song, that was fun for him!! Back to Bluegrass!!!

Our Wonderful supportive family came to see Alex. What a blessing to have all the that love in the audience.

After the music Liisa took some of the kids to the creek behind the stage. It was hot so the kids loved that!

Jeb's 15 yr. old cousin, Karissa made Jebediah this BEAUTIFUL quilt! She made up the pattern and hand sewed it herself! WOW! This is homeschooling talent 101~~~~Totally. It is so funny because a few days before Jeb was born I dreamed that he had a quilt that was musical and confederate. Steve's mom did a qulit for him that was red white and blue! Oh I love my family!!! Thanks Karissa.... Jeb and I love the quilt!!!!! You are AMAZING. Thanks to your MuMu (Grandma) who showed you by example how to sew so beautiful.

We went and saw Great Grandpa Bob, I grew up calling him "Big Grandpa" but Steve could not remember if he was big or little so he has taught the kids it's Grandpa Bob to keep it easy for him. Grandpa is 92 years old and still doing pretty good. The kids don't know him the way I knew him but they still like to go see him. Age is a strange thing, "getting older is no fun, but it's better than the alternative" which is a quote this Grandpa likes to say! He's funny. This was the first time he met Jeb, it was sweet.

Oh yes, everyone LOVES Grandma and Grandpa! The greatest grandparents these kids could ever wish for!!! Love, support, encouragement, joy, comfort and well, 1,000,000,000 other great qualities are all bound up in my mom and dad!!!! oh it's......David, Mom, Grandpa, Collin, and Alex in the picture.

We were blessed to have my big brother Troy down here for a few days and he met Jeb for the first time! That was great! Troy said he looks like the rest of the Goldman's and he's a keeper, we agree! HA We are excited to find out what Troy and Heather are going to have in November # 7 boy or girl for them. Hey, that means we should have to come up to Washington to visit them huh!! Oh yeah!! They have the Organic wine vineyard near them...I am coming! Well, not to mention terrific and awesome kids!!!

Last night we played some music together!!! Oh the Joy! I (Tami) can reach my Bass....no belly in the way! Praise God! Jeb sat next to me....not "in" me this time!
We were fatherless/gutairless for the beginning of the music time so that was funny. Steve was installing a swamp cooler we just got yesterday so it was a little different without the gutair but still it was fun. We figured we better learn how to play without him if he gets a job, and can't join us at the Growers Market this summer....we are all wanting to start going again to the Market and make a little extra spending cash for the kids. Steve did join us a little later, so that was nice!
Alex has been doing some amazing song writing lately. Alex really stretches Steve musical abilities in finding the chords to songs, and that is not that easy. Alex is writing "different stuff" well more complicated then the average 1,4,5 bluegrass songs! It's so awesome to see them work together and come up with an amazing tune! I just wait till they figure it out and then hand me over the chart for me to follow...shhhh don't tell them.
Last night Alex and Anna were working on a tune Anna started writing on the banjo, it's great too! God is really blessing these kids with the gift of music. I pray they use music always for His glory and His Kingdom on earth! I am so glad I get to listen to their music so much around the house :) I love it!

Kaila is one of the neatest girls I know. What a heart, what a love for Christ and what a yearning she has to follow after purity! She is always amazing me with her knowledge and yet her humbleness too. I am so blessed that my kids have her as their cousin, she sets a great example for all the 30 grandkids! Wow, now she has a drivers license and is ready to hit the road....not! (at least not too far from home). I know she wants to bless her family and follow the wishes of her daddy in the years to come! She plays guitar wonderfully, and in our family that is a major smart thing and a total plus in life! HA She is wonderful all the way around!!!

Jeb was happy to see his cousin Esther, he thinks she is as great as I do. She helped me get him dressed and held him almost the whole time she was here. Well, she had to let Liisa hold him a minute...what a sweetie. He liked seeing all the other Anderson's too. Liisa brought over a delicious dinner.... meatballs and they were great! She sure knows how to cook! Of course Anna did her wonderful part and got them all ready for me! What wonderful people to have around. :)

Birthday Boys!

My oldest and my youngest share the same birthday! April 27th...........that's 7 in our household of 10 people to be born on the 27th day of a month. Pretty funny.

Jebediah Victor was born on Alex's 15th birthday. God is so fun sometimes, Jeb was born at 12:00 a.m. just perfect to make his oldest brothers birthday. I think he will want to be like his big brother in many ways. At least I pray that he will. Alex is a blessing in so many ways. He is so kind and gentle to his little brothers and sisters. He is so patient when he teaches them fiddle, or plays with them. He is so willing to go outside and push Will on the swing or create some fun, new thing for the kids to do. God has been working huge in his life too. His love and knowledge of Jesus Christ is growing each day. Many times I am asking him what things mean or some big word. I know the Omnibus class that his Uncle Kenny is teaching has been life changing for him. We are so excited to see what God is doing and will do in Alex the older he gets. He is of course still getting better and better at his love, the fiddle! What a gift of music he has, and that I know he wants to use to glorify God Almighty.

What do I say about the birthday boy Jebediah? He is getting really good at nursing, and I say does want to do it all the time. :) Mom got him a pacifier and he loved it, our first child to ever take one. Just looking at him brings joy to my heart. He is a gift from God that will love dearly and are excited to see grow into a fine man of God!!

Hooray Levi is a year older! A big 7 years old! We had a great time at his party. Thanks again (as always) to Grandma Dot and Grandpa! The kids did bumper boats, race cars and video games. The cake was yummy and ice cream too.

Family, Friends and Daddy's 40th Birthday!

The birthday boy!!! The greatest husband, father, friend and 4o year old in the World!!! It was not easy trying to pull off a surprise with this guy, but we did pretty good! It was soooo much fun! Everyone was awesome to come, thanks for making it special. We had some entertainment by the audience (karaoke) , yummy food (thanks to mom, Liisa and her girls), great fellowship and yep Steve got some great gifts! Steve felt very loved thanks so much.

One of Steve's favorite fun things is Karaoke...so Kenny set it up for the party! And along with that Kenny has some AGE appropriate jokes ready to fire off! What a surprise! He never stops!
Steve sang wonderful of course, it did not matter that he turned 40 years, old he can still make me smile big and proud when he sings....ahhhhh I love him! (This is Tami typing ya know!) :)

Aaron and Alexa Sleadd did great, must have learned some tricks on singing from their daddy!!

Twins Mailee and Murren had fun at the karaoke too!

The girls sang together....I guess less stress with more friends singing along :) Emma, Tessa, Mercy Anna, and Ellie.

Mr. Sleadd was a true hit! Wow what a great voice! I think he has had a little practice singing...it was great fun!
Of course when they are together and their is an instrument or two these friends love playing music! Dylan, Tait and Alex.

Wonderful friends Dan and Sheryl, we met them at the Growers Market a couple years ago. We love them like family!

Happenings

Here was a project the kids did. It's so great, I give them the book say do this experiment and boom they do! Smarty pants! We were studying rocks and Rome (don't they go together? ) Well it was a great unit study! We still are needing to have the Rome party, keep posted to see some pictures of that! :)

As you can see in Cassie's face the smell was not that good! They did super....though the outcome a few days later was not as perfect as the book pictures, they still learned and had fun too.

Next we have another project!

Anna and Cassie did some really great volcanos for school the other day. Since it was Granny's birthday we set them off in honor of her! The girls did great! I love to homeschool! OK most of the time!! HA The fun stuff is awesome!

And lastly on my thoughts is AMO!

Today Amo (our cockatiel) has flown the coop and left the family. Really I sold her on craigslist. She chirped one to many times right in the middle of us recording our CD. She was a good bird....WELL, Steve hated her, and she really only liked me :) but it's quite around here tonight without her. Amo means 'love' in Latin, although there was little of that love in her....I know maybe she did not speak Latin! HA
Goodbye Amo. By the way this is Murren with Amo on her head. She did love to be on peoples heads should I tell you the ones she pooped on? Only a few. :)

What a great guy this Kolten is...."Everybody loves him, nobody hates him, guess he's really cool"!!! :) It's true-- he is fun, sweet, always willing to give a great hug, and funny as can be (reminds me of a mix between Kenny and Jason, really a bit more like Jason). Now that's gotta be a really cool person!
May the Lord bless you Kolten and continue to lead you down the straight and narrow way. Your sisters are lucky to have you around to keep them safe and happy. You are sooo awesome at playing your hammered dulcimer....I can't wait to see your new one that you are getting, how exciting! We had fun at your party tonight.

Youth jam hiding in the hallways...they say the sound is better. It was hard to hear in the main areas because so many different jams happening.

Yep, it was AWESOME!!! Tons of music, beautiful motels, fun time spent with Grandma Dot, little sleep, great concerts, watching the kids jam, seeing old friends, meeting new friends, and getting inspired to play more and get better!!! Thank God it all went fabulous! Thanks again Grandma Dot for taking us and spoiling us! :)

My little Cassie Marie is 10 years old today!! WOW!! She is such a sweet little thing, but is growing up really fast! Here she is in this picture with her new full size birthday fiddle purchased at Wintergrass from Grandma Dot and Grandpa Ken this last weekend. Boy was she happy to get that! We had an awesome time at Wintergrass with Grandma Dot, she spoiled us a whole lot! I will post more about that later.
Anyway, we are very proud of Cassie, and are blessed beyond words for our 4th child and 2nd born girl. She is so helpful around the house, she has a tender heart, she loves the Lord and wants so much to do good and please Him. She loves to draw, create artsy things and play with her sisters. She is doing so very awesome in school and is learning fast and well. She is always ready for fun, the joy that is in her is so overflowing. You really never have to guess how she is felling, she wears here feelings on her sleeve (so the saying goes). I love the life she has in her, it's fun, it's exciting and it blesses my socks off! I pray as she grows older she will continue to serve the Lord and follow Him with her whole heart. Happy Birthday Cassie....we Love you!!!

Everyone did tournament a great job today in the chess tournament! Most of them are qualified from todays wins to go to state! They are also qualified to go in a few weeks to a team chess tournament that their chess club won. They all had great attitudes and were sweet to the others.

On the way home I rented 'Searching for Bobby Fischer' It is a true story movie about a young amazing chess player. After that we all played nerts! It was a great evening. Really good because we got Steve and Alex to play nerts with us! What an awesome family I have!! I love each one of the kids and yep, all the cousins are super too! God is soooooooo great!!!!

Before Awards were announced these young people led worship. Aaron, Tait, Dylan, Natalie and Alex. It was beautiful! Alex said this was the the Best time he had during the tournament....I am not surprised! :) The worship was always wonderful every morning and it really set the scene for the rest of the day.

The competing Cousins...well Devin was missing. Are they a good looking bunch or what?? YEP!

Collin and Anna. Collin won 3rd. in Expository and Anna won 3rd in Open Interpretation.

Anna said she wanted to place so bad, not for herself but for Grandma Dot. She said she spent so much money and she did not want to let her down...so sweet! For you Grandma Dot~!!!

It was a blessing to see all these young people do their different speeches and do so well. The community judges that came, (from all over town) were all blessed by the children too. Many of the judges said over and over they could not believe the kindness and support the kids showed to one another. There was prayer in the halls for one another before they would compete and there was much fun playing games when in between speeches. Kids from 7 years old to young adults 20 playing games together. It was a great tournament. I do believe Jesus was glorified and that is the whole point of life!!!! I hope to figure out how to post some of the videos of the speeches here soon, I'm having tech difficulties.

The handsome cousin, nephew and good friend Jared is 7 years old today!! Wow! He loves and is so good at chess. Jared is always happy, ready to play and have fun in life. He's so handsome too! He is doing so good on his speech, (thanks so much to Great Aunt Vickie). He loves his time of school with her. Little Grandpa is not to well lately, but he can still throw out a joke or two. He has been such a wonderful Grandpa! He is now 91 years old. I know everyone that knows him knows he was always serving others and bringing us gas when my mom would ran out in Phoenix :)
God has been very merciful to him and he has never had any pains, up until this past few weeks. I pray that he would get to feeling better. Please keep him your prayers too.

One Kitten for Kristy

Kristy was a girl who had too many kittens. Kristy did not think so but her mother and father did.

“You may keep just one kitten. You will have to give the rest of them away. We just can't have a house full of kittens.”

Kristy chose the roundest polka dot kitten for her own. She put the others in a basket and set it in her wagon. Then away she went Kristy with five kittens in her basket.

(Mrs. McGinty was sweeping her walk.)

“What beautiful kittens!”

“Would you like one? They are so sweet and cute!”

“Indeed I would but you see, I have some goldfish. A kitten might eat the goldfish.”

“Maybe we could trade my kitten for your goldfish.”

“OK Kristy here you go! Two goldfish in a bowl.”

“I will chose that beautiful kitten of snowball-white aw she is very pretty.”

Away went Kristy with FOUR kittens in her basket, and two goldfish in a bowl.

Kristy pulled her wagon quietly because she was coming up to Miss Murphy's house. Miss Murphy did not like squeaky wagons or noisy children.

“Hello, Miss Murphy. I have some nice quite kittens to give away. Would you like one?”

“Did you say quiet kittens? Let me see! Oh all the do is make a quiet purring sound. Wait!”

Miss Murphy went inside her house and came out with a parrot in a cage.

“This is Skipper. A sea captain sent him to me. He sings the Sailor's Hornpipe. Would you like to trade a nice quiet kitten for a nice noisy parrot?”

“Oh yes! I would love to trade a kitten for your parrot.

Miss Murphy how about this gray kitten?”

Away went Kristy down the street with THREE kittens in a basket, two goldfish in a bowl, and one green parrot in a cage.

“Kristy saw Mr. Wiggins. At his fruit stand.”

“Pesky mice! They keep nibbling my fruits and cheeses!”

“What you need is a kitten. Cat's love to eat mice!”

“I could use two kittens. These two midnight-black ones are perfect! Come Kristy come with me. Take your pick, we can trade.”

“Puppies! I will chose this one. The one with the floppiest ears and the droopiest tail.”

Away went Kristy with ONE kitten in her basket, two goldfish in a bowl, one green parrot in a cage, and a wriggly brown puppy in a box.

Kristy saw Mrs. Green chasing a shiny black rooster.

“Pesky rooster! I'm going to put you in the soup pot! Every morning he crows and wakes me up!”

“Oh please don't! Give him to me and I will trade you with this little kitten.”

“That is a fine idea. My little girl would love this striped kitten for her birthday tomorrow.”

She put the rooster in a crate for Kristy.

Away went Kristy with an empty basket, two goldfish in a bowl, one green parrot in a cage, a wriggly puppy in a box, and a shiny black rooster in a crate.

Kristy felt very happy and proud. When she got home she called,

“Mother! Father! I found a home for every single kitten. I traded too! Aren't you glad?”

One day long ago by the Sea of Galilee. Many people followed Jesus. A lot of them were sick and all of them were getting hungry.

Jesus- “Philip where can we buy bread, that these people may eat?”

Philip- “Oh Lord, lots and lots of money would not feed this many people!”

Boy- “Excuse me Sir. Excuse me, I have a little food that I would like to give you to eat. I think Jesus might be hungry.”

Andrew went to Jesus and said, “There is a little boy that wants to share his five loaves of bread and two fish. But that will not be enough for this many people!”

Jesus knew what to do.

Jesus- “Tell everyone to sit down. Thank you Father for what you given us today.” (Bless the bread and fish)

Jesus- “Pass these baskets out to the people.”

Everyone had so much to eat. They were so stuffed. They took the left overs and there was twelve baskets left full of food.

The boy was so happy that he shared and even more excited about seeing Jesus feed five thousand people with his five loaves of bread and two fish.

Always be willing to share and believe God will provide and He will.

Mercy is one fun loving, sensitive, caring, joyful, sweet, fast talking (really fast talking) young virtuous lady! She gives great back massages and loves to have a good time....which I really appreciate. Mercy can go up to anyone and start a conversation and make everyone feel comfortable and at home. She does have the gift of Mercy and I can see the Heavenly Father working in her life as she grows. We are so blessed to have Mercy as our niece/cousin. Love you and Happy birthday!
The Goldman's third child, our oldest daughter and my right arm!! Anna, wow words can't express what you mean to us! A giving servant is not enough to say to describe her! Anna has such a gentle heart, meek spirit, she's loving sister, and true friend, and she never stop's helping me (mom) make dinner's or any other meal. Sometimes I look at her and am in awe that God had blessed us with such a sweetheart! She desires so much to have a closer walk with her Heavenly Father, she wants so much to tell others about God. It's so fun to talk to her, and hear how her heart is for those who don't know Jesus. She wants others to know that God is alive and real! Anna has grown up so much physically this year, yet she is still my little Honeybear!! We love you Anna. Happy Birthday to you, I am so glad you got your wish your ears pierced!!!! :)

Junior Speech '07

The humorous group! Are you laughing? You would have been if you saw their speeches. They all did awesome! Esther 3rd. Cassie 2nd and Emma 1st. Jared was amazing...I was so proud of all of them.
These kids did wonderful! Will was a little bit bummed he did not get a medal around his neck at the end but he had a super time. It's good to learn the lesson that you don't always win He did the best he could and he is looking to next time. :) He loved it.

The duo teams. Mailee and Murren got 3rd. place. Esther and Mercy got 2nd. Emma and Ellie got 1st. Levi and Drew did very good too. It was a great! Everyone did awesome. Mailee and Murren had never done this before so it was wonderful. They were not scared at all. They are looking forward to the next time as well! :)

Ellie is our niece. She got 1st place! She was in the dramatic group.

It was a joy having Breanna and Savannah over at our house for two days. They had a blast together. I think they spent 97% of the time outside in the girls playhouse. It is such a blessing having the sweetest nieces and nephews in the world!! Praise God for that!

Mom or better known as "Grandma Dot" had her 60th birthday yesterday. Along with her granddaughter Kaylee, who turned 1. It was a great party! All the 29 (we are having #30) of her Grandkids love her so dearly. She is the best mother/Grandma we could ever hope for. Thanks for being the BEST mom and Grandma ever!!!! Steve has been working on a logo for us. We are going to get a banner made to put up when we perform at the market or other places. My dad said we need one and he is the brains behind it...as well as the helping us get it financially :) We are stuck on a motto though. Any ideas? Something short and sweet. The Goldman Family has no motto...how sad! HA Well, the kids are still doing great anyway, motto or not! 'SMILE'. The twins are working on a new song, and Anna is getting better and better on that banjo. Cassie is still learning from Alex, he is an awesome teacher. He just needs more time. He's so busy (in a great way) with Omnibus. Collin of course is always getting better without practicing much...stinker.

"The Incredible Will" William is so full of life, a joy and a blessing to our whole family! Yesterday the midwife came over for my checkup. He ran in and told Steve the baby lady is here. He is very excited to see the new baby (seems like forever away but I know it will come sometime). Will said a few day ago, when the baby comes I will share my toys and teach it play with me. How sweet huh. It will be awesome to see all the kids with a new baby.
It has been sooooo long....4 years! Crazy!

P.S The appointment went great with the midwife...but she was bad and did not tell me I was having twins. Well, can't win them all! HA! Baby is growing and we are praising God for the blessing!! Everyone is excited! Just waiting.....and waiting.....and waiting..... :)

Anna and Murrren

Just a cute picture of Anna and Murren. I am not sure who took it. But that was the day my camera was missing! The girls found it a few days ago in their playhouse. Gotta love them!! I do!! Look real close and see Anna has a snake in her hands. Does the picture still look cute HA! It was a little snake.

God has been awesome to our family, as always. We are blessed and healthy. We are all looking forward to Thanksgiving and the Troy ANDERSON family coming down!!!!! Yipppeee!

Barn Dance

We had a great time at the speech club barn dance last night! It was wonderful to see the kids dance and smile and enjoy themselves. I got to dance with Steve and William!! Yeah! Steve danced with all his girls at different times. What a blessing to have such a neat dad for the girls. One who will get out on the dance floor and have a great time with his little princesses! Will was so funny, I loved dancing with him! He got into the "Heel toe, heel toe, shuffle across the floor" Or something like that (he can quote it right). Alex danced with Anna and all the others danced too. It was fun.

Before the barn dance we went and played at the Growers markert in Grants Pass too. We have not been there for over a month. It was good to see all our old vender friends and get some yummy treats, for free. It's always awesome to play for people and see them smile and be amazed at how good the kids are! It was a busy day we left home at 9:00 a.m. and got home about 11:00 p.m. but it was fun!

Sabbath Meal With Anderson Family

We had an awesome time last night at the Kenny Anderson's house. They invited us over for their Sabbath feast. And it was a feast! Kenny did some awesome sermons a while back on the importance of the sabbath in his series of The Ten Commandments. So, they have been really faithful to make each Saturday night a special Sabbath meal and honor Jesus Christ together. I loved to be a part of that with them last night. The food was awesome! Steak, salad, bread, green beans, stuffed potatoes, sparkling cider (or wine if old enough or not pregnant HA) then brownies and ice-cream with chocolate or caramel syrup on top. The fellowship was awesome too. We are so blessed to have Christian believing family. We cheered (toasted) and had lots of laughs and fun. The guys talked a lot of theology and Liisa, Karissa and I played nerts! Thank you Kenny and Liisa and family! It is awesome to watch those girls, Kaila an Karissa, they work so hard and are a real blessing to their parents. Virtuous women with sweet spirits. The boys started making a movie outside after dinner. The twins loved being with Katrina, and Will and Levi had fun too...doing boy things I guess. I love them all!! It was a blast for me to hold Noah and change his little poopy diaper too. :)
Anna, Cassie, Ellie and Esther were all with mom on their special night for the middle girls...we missed them but I know they had a great time too. I will let them write about that!

We had a great time at the festival! It was cold at night but the daytime was not too bad. It was great to play and we did sell DVD's yippee.
Another great thing was the boys got to join a really good band Ida Viper, for three songs on their set (see picture above). The band came up to us after we performed and said they thought it was a CD playing when we first started. They really liked the boys. They played more swing style stuff, so that was a real blast for the boys! Collin learned new chords real quick, they again were surprised. God is great to give the boys these opportunities! It was so neat to watch Collin, he was really enjoying the swing style, and Smiling!!!! We all know that is amazing! HA! Alex was having fun too, it was late when they played around 11:30p.m...but worth it for sure.

Boy or Girl?

We are expecting a new baby at the end of April! We are very happy. Will is already 4yrs. and he will be close to 5yrs. when the baby comes, it was about time I would say (we are slacking). HA Just wanted to let everyone know about the coming baby Goldman in the blog world.
Mom and dad have already given me some products to assure this grandchild "number 30" will be happy, healthy and strong!! I love my parents! The twins came in and asked me if I wanted twins or triplets...HA again. I would love twins but triplets....wow that would be interesting. My mom said I had single babies in my teens, twins in my twenty's and now in my thirty's I will have triplets...doubt it. Jodi would really be mad at me! I am very happy and feel so blessed...thanks for sharing in my joy family!!! Love you all
P.S don't think too much about the fact that I am in my thirty's either. LOL
